Fever Return to SMSN With a Season Split on the Line in Atlanta
Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell lead Indiana into a high-stakes Sunday matchup against the Dream as Brian Snow returns to the call at 5:00 PM ET.
ATLANTA — Indiana Fever basketball returns to the Snowman Multimedia Sports Network with unfinished business waiting in Atlanta.
The Fever visit the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, August 16, at State Farm Arena with the opening tip scheduled for 5:00 PM ET. Brian Snow will have the call right at the top of the hour as Indiana attempts to split the four-game season series.
Indiana enters at 22-12 after a 98-87 home victory over the surprising Dallas Wings. Atlanta stands at 21-12 and owns a 2-1 advantage in the season series, making the final meeting a significant late-season test for two teams separated by only half a game.

Indiana Fever at Atlanta Dream
The Terrific Trio Is Rolling
Indiana’s three foundational stars delivered together against Dallas.
Caitlin Clark scored 29 points and handed out 10 assists, producing the 20th game of her career with at least 20 points and 10 assists. Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points and extended her WNBA single-season record to 18 consecutive games with at least 20. Aliyah Boston controlled the interior with 16 points and 10 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season.
Clark created the pace. Mitchell supplied relentless pressure as a scorer. Boston gave Indiana balance and strength around the basket.
That combination helped the Fever erase a third-quarter deficit by scoring 35 points in the fourth. Indiana showed why it leads the league in scoring, and the same offensive firepower will be required against Atlanta.
Unfinished Business With the Dream
The Fever opened the season series with an 83-71 victory on June 4. Atlanta answered by winning 108-101 on June 18 and 113-96 on June 20.
Those back-to-back Dream victories remain controversial from the SMSN perspective and among many Indiana supporters. The official record is not in dispute: Atlanta won both games and carries the series lead into Sunday. The lingering debate centers on how the games were managed and officiated, adding another layer of emotion to the final regular-season meeting.
Sunday gives Indiana an opportunity to provide the cleanest possible response. Win the basketball game. Even the season series. Leave Atlanta with the result decided on the floor.

Atlanta Presents a Real Test
The Dream are not merely standing in Indiana’s way because of history. They are one of the strongest teams in the league and enter the matchup only one game behind the Fever in the loss column.
Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard give Atlanta dangerous perimeter scoring. Jordin Canada organizes the offense and creates pressure defensively. Angel Reese attacks the glass, where her rebounding can create extra possessions and disrupt Indiana’s transition game.
Atlanta has already demonstrated that it can score with Indiana. The Dream produced 108 and 113 points in their two wins, meaning the Fever cannot depend on offense alone to settle the series.
Three Keys for Indiana
The Fever are beginning a five-game road trip. They are also entering a building where the previous meeting ended with Atlanta celebrating and Indiana searching for answers.
Boston, Clark and Mitchell arrive in form. The offense arrives with momentum. The season series arrives with tension.
And for the first time since stepping away, Brian Snow returns to the microphone for Fever basketball on SMSN.
Right at the top of the hour.
5:00 PM ET.
