Fever Return to SMSN With a Season Split on the Line in Atlanta

ATLANTA — Indiana Fever basketball returns to the Snowman Multimedia Sports Network with unfinished business waiting in Atlanta.
The Fever visit the Atlanta Dream on Sunday, August 16, at State Farm Arena with the opening tip scheduled for 5:00 PM ET. Brian Snow will have the call right at the top of the hour as Indiana attempts to split the four-game season series.
Indiana enters at 22-12 after a 98-87 home victory over the surprising Dallas Wings. Atlanta stands at 21-12 and owns a 2-1 advantage in the season series, making the final meeting a significant late-season test for two teams separated by only half a game.

Indiana’s three foundational stars delivered together against Dallas.
Caitlin Clark scored 29 points and handed out 10 assists, producing the 20th game of her career with at least 20 points and 10 assists. Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points and extended her WNBA single-season record to 18 consecutive games with at least 20. Aliyah Boston controlled the interior with 16 points and 10 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season.
Clark created the pace. Mitchell supplied relentless pressure as a scorer. Boston gave Indiana balance and strength around the basket.
That combination helped the Fever erase a third-quarter deficit by scoring 35 points in the fourth. Indiana showed why it leads the league in scoring, and the same offensive firepower will be required against Atlanta.
Unfinished Business With the Dream
The Fever opened the season series with an 83-71 victory on June 4. Atlanta answered by winning 108-101 on June 18 and 113-96 on June 20.
